INTRODUCTION TO C.O.P.S

The alternative C.O.P.S scheme is now available, providing a more auditable system. Key elements of the new scheme are:
- It overcomes misuse of the concessionary schemes
- Simple to operate for transport operators and users
- Cost effective to implement
- Makes best use of current technology
- Reassures Local Authorities that all allocated budget is being used or repaid

USER BASE

Concessionary Solutions currently have around 1000 taxi operators registered to accept tokens. It is expected that this will increase to around 3000 taxi operators in 2 to 3 years. Established dial-a-ride and conventional train and bus operators are also covered.
