WHAT ARE TRAVEL TOKENS?

Concessionary travel for elderly and disabled people, school children and all other eligible groups is a long standing commitment to both Central Government and your Local Authority. Although all Local Authorities must now offer a free bus pass, many also offer National Transport Tokens as an alternative. Our leaflet has been prepared to explain token based concessionary travel with National Transport Tokens.

The tokens look just like coins. They are available in 20p, 50p and £1 denominations but if your Local Authority is operating an NTT token-based concessionary travel scheme you will receive your allocated concessionary travel allowance in this form.
